Frequently Asked Questions

What are the technology requirements for Cardon Voice lessons and events?

You are welcome to attend your lesson from any device with a stable wifi connection! For the best experience, we recommend joining your lessons from a tablet or computer. If you must join from a cell phone, please double-check that you are connected via wifi, not your cellular data (which is generally too slow for good audio/video). A minimum connection speed of 10mbps will ensure you have a great connection with minimal lag! Not sure what you connection speed is? Go to speedtest.net to check.

What days and times are available for Lessons?

Teacher availability is subject to change, but generally speaking, we offer lessons from Sunday through Thursday, year round with occasional holiday closures. Visit the Lessons page to search our full calendar!

What qualifications does my teacher have?

All Cardon Voice teachers are degreed musicians (never university or conservatory students) and experienced performers in a variety of styles. From this limited pool of talented musicians, we work with only the best communicators– singers who can break down exactly what they’re doing with clarity and depth of understanding– to help you get to the root of the matter quickly and effectively.

Can I request feedback on a specific topic for my Vocal Coaching?

Absolutely! Your Coachings are tailored to your needs and goals; feel free to make special requests! We love to see students take charge of their learning, so don’t be shy. For Coachings, you may record yourself running through a particular exercise you’re hung up on, singing that one tricky line of your song over and over again so your teacher can hear what’s going wrong, or recording the whole song for performance feedback.

Can I review the video from a previous Vocal Coaching?

Yes! The more you use your Cardon Voice membership, the more helpful material you’ll have to review in your Practice Plan. Each past coaching response is added to this page, as well as any specific warm-ups, exercises or other tools your teacher assigns for your specific needs. Note that this page is secure and just for you, so you’ll need to be logged in to view it!

Where can I find a video about x topic?

If you’re looking for information on a specific topic, submit a request below! You can also mention your interest to your teacher during a lesson or video coaching, so that they can respond with helpful links just for you in Your Practice Plan.
